Cvent’s Global Demand Center is seeking an organized, strategic marketing professional to join our team as a Marketing Technology specialist. Our ideal candidate is a skilled project manager with a passion for marketing technology, understanding of how marketing systems intersect, and interest in discovering new ways to solve the needs of the business.

In this role on the Marketing Technology and Automation team, you will serve as a technical expert, onboard and setup new technologies, and optimize how we use existing tools in our stack. We are looking for an individual with excellent technical and communication skills that thrives in a collaborative environment, who is willing to build relationships and get things done. While attention to detail is crucial, the ability to be flexible, think quickly on your feet, and fully understand dependencies and the “big picture” is also important.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Solve complex, large-scale challenges by maximizing the full potential of Cvent’s technology stack
  • Lead creation of business and technology requirements, and establish prioritization for the development and enhancement of marketing platform capabilities
  • Facilitate the development and governance of operational and roadmap plans
  • Consult with stakeholders across the organization to capture process flows and create training materials to drive adoption of marketing systems
  • Define and manage cross-platform integration points and associated processes
  • Work on troubleshooting, escalations, and urgent requests; facilitate feedback loops between stakeholders
  • Build, automate and analyze reporting to show technical/automation effectiveness and trends 

What You Need For This Position

  • 2-3 years of experience in marketing operations or sales operations
  • Experience writing technical how-to documentation & streamlining complex processes
  • Demonstrated project management experience: the ability to work with stakeholders to finalize requirements, create project plans, and to work with multiple business/technical stakeholders to establish, communicate, and meet agreed-upon deadlines
  • At least 1 year of technical experience with multiple types of marketing technologies(For example, marketing automation platforms like Marketo, Eloqua, Pardot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud; CRM and database platforms like Salesforce or Snowflake; additional tools like Rudderstack, Drift, Cvent, 6Sense, Demandbase, Bizible, Tableau, Reachdesk, etc.)
  • Ability to create reports and insights from data sets
  • Ability to dig in to understand project requirements, expectations, and deliver on them
