The primary focus of the Marketing Operations Specialist is to work closely with Marketing stakeholders on their marketing operations and technology needs to support their overall demand generation and revenue goals. With a focus on driving marketing campaigns and channel tactics via execution and collaboration, this position will make strategic recommendations and mentor on Marketo execution best practices to help Trimble achieve consistent operational excellence.

Martech Operations:

  • Bring high attention to detail, while managing multiple projects and the ability to deliver against aggressive timeframes
  • Assist with marketing technology software and systems, from implementation to adoption, working with the systems architect and channel stakeholders
  • Participate in the launch and adoption of Marketing Technology across Trimble Transportation, including creating Marketo programs to support the launches
  • Remain current on Marketo and Martech best practices, tools and that drive higher performance and optimization.
  • Work closely with Marketo and system architects to ensure accurate synchronization between Marketo and databases and segmentation
  • Contribute to the development or improvement of systems or processes to effectively improve data cleanliness and management, including record merging, and capture, track leads, sales, list uploads, target segmentation, nurturing and touch cadences
  • Troubleshoot and QA campaigns, workflows, data issues and other key marketing operations functions and mentor under more advanced operational infrastructure

Demand Operations:

Work closely with Marketing stakeholders to:

  • Design, support and execute Marketo-based campaigns to accelerate demand and lead generation to impact net-new and upsell revenue
  • Segment and leverage the marketing database for greater campaign efficiency and effectiveness
  • Optimize lead scoring and distribution methodology to ensure quality leads are passed to sales development for qualification and for increasing efficiencies and conversion rates, with a focus on channel and line of business-related architecture
  • Building and executing Marketo campaigns and following overall governance structure established by the Marketing Operations Architect, to ensure best-in-class campaigns, training, and playbook development
  • Contribute and collaborate on marketing campaign playbooks, operational best practices, and channel tactics making sure they align to standard operational workflows
  • Consult and assist with inbound lead best practices across the entire Martech stack 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, with emphasis in business, marketing, or related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a Marketing Operations, Campaign or Demand Generation Campaign role
  • Advanced user of Marketo, with technical expertise in the setup of nurture campaigns, email communications and assets, “customer journeys”, dynamic functionality, and other platform specific tasks
  • Experience with Salesforce, Hubspot, Pardot, and marketing channel platforms is recommended (including Uberflip, Drift, GoToWebinar)
  • High attention to detail, well organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a positive attitude
  • HTML knowledge and ability to troubleshoot basic HTML errors with a focus on emails and landing pages recommended
  • Core understanding of B2B marketing funnels, scaling profitable demand, optimizing lead handoff processes, and exceeding ROI targets
  • Experience in a B2B and/or SaaS company environment recommended
  • Ability to mentor or train other stakeholders to replicate campaign excellence across the business
